HAMBANTOTA, Sri Lanka _ India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his team have been fined part of their match fee for maintaining a slow over rate in the first one-day international against Sri Lanka. The International Cricket Council said in a statement Sunday that India was one over short when the finishing time came in Saturday's day-night match and Match Referee Chris Broad fined Dhoni 20 per cent of his match fee and 10 per cent from his teammates. India won the match by 21 runs and went 1-0 up in the five-match series. The second match will also be played at Hambantota on Tuesday.
